Try out a new media without breaking the art supply budget!
Watercolors have a special charm and a quirky personality. Watercolor is the painting medium most like drawing in that it is usually worked light to dark. To honor this we will explore techniques that mix drawing and watercolor painting. This class will provide a rich array of materials for a $20 materials fee, so that you can try out the medium without the commitment. You are also welcome to bring your own materials and skip the materials fee. Ann will show you how to paint rich and saturated watercolors, and to both control and celebrate a challenging medium. Students will be painting either from still-life or landscapes around the Art Center. Please check with me individually if you are bringing your own materials.
