Come join Ann McMillan for a workshop about using painting fundamentals to work fast and fresh in your choice of media. This class will welcome pastels, acrylics or oils. We will look at composition and value for designing paintings that are strong and interesting. We will also do a few color experiments to understand how color and value are related and why getting the values right is so key to making interesting paintings. If weather permits, this workshop will include a plein air component. We will do still-life indoors, or enlarge outdoor sketches if the weather is difficult. All levels are welcome – you can learn if you have painted for years, and if you have always wanted to paint this workshop is for you!
